There are a number of ways to cook a chicken breast; this article will be about one way that I use to cook a delicious chicken breast with vegetables for a family event. A simple, low fat, super easy recipe at that! With just a fresh mixed salad and a tossed salad, you’ve got a super simple meal on your plate in no time at all!

First you need to make sure that your chicken breast is completely clean, don’t try to cook it while it’s dirty, or shred it up before you start cooking. Next, you want to mix together a simple garlic herb salad (made with crushed red onion, chopped dill, and sharp cheddar cheese) with some warm tahini, lemon juice, and olive oil. This dressing can be made by using torn basil leaves and rinsing them with water over medium heat in a food processor. Next you’ll want to add the marinara sauce, a couple of tablespoons of lemon juice, and a pinch of black pepper, and mix it all together until it becomes a smooth paste. Finally you’re going to blend in a tablespoon or two of your favorite BBQ sauce, and pour it over your cleaned plate, so that everything stays coated.

As an added bonus, this recipe makes a fantastic light dinner when served with some baked potatoes and a fresh salad. I love the simplicity of this dish, and am always drawn to the idea of cooking something healthy on a busy night. In addition, I find that I always have leftover breasts sitting around, so I often use this chicken breast recipe as the basis for my sandwiches. The skinless chicken breast is extremely tasty and a great example of why preparing healthy meals should never be a sacrifice of taste and style!
